Australia says yes to marriage equality. Kinda.

THE LAND DOWN UNDER — Australia voted yes in a postal survey asking if the country should legalize same sex marriage.

Over 60% of Aussies voted for marriage equality, with all states and territories saying g'day to the motion.

The result is non-binding, meaning the government isn't required to act on it.

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull calling the result a vote for fairness, but the no side reckons the opposite.
