Known for regular absence in assembly sessions, Karnataka Congress MLA Ambareesh has yet again courted controversy by skipping the Belgavi Assembly session in Belgavi. He was seen dancing at a music launch in Bengaluru as he skipped the session on Tuesday. A video of him dancing at the music launch is going viral. However, Karnataka Congress Working President, Dinesh Gundurao, said this shouldn't be taken too seriously as he is a "different kind of politician". "Even as Union Minister he didn't attend minister's office because of his own reasons, Mandya-Kaveri issue and all,". Ambareesh has just four days of attendance in 218 days of 14 sessions. A complaint was also lodged with the Speaker against him for his regular absence.
