Australians overwhelmingly voted in favor of marriage equality! Following a two-month national survey... results show the majority of the country voted "yes!" More than 12.7 million people or 79.5 percent of the country participated in the survey, with 7.8 million voting to legalize same-sex marriage. Now, the Parliament must consider the same-sex marriage bill. Under the bill, businesses will be able to refuse services for gay couples.
