Yesterday at Mobile World Congress, Niantic CEO John Hanke briefly mentioned that Niantic has 3 more major content releases planned for Pokémon GO this year. Those updates could include legendaries, gen 3 Pokémon, global events, weather effects, breeding, trading, PvP battles, and even a completely reworked gym battle system.
