Jordin Sparks has had a banner year…
Not only did the American Idol alum secretly wed her boyfriend in mid-July… but the newlyweds are also expecting their first child together late next spring.
Sparks confirmed the news to PEOPLE, saying they’re both really excited and proud to be married to each other.
The couple eloped while on vacation on July 16th with a small group of friends while in Hawaii.
They surprised their loved ones with the news of their wedding, then shocked them one month later when they found out they were expecting.
Sparks added that it’s been really crazy because everything changes… and once they got over the initial shock of it, now they’re excited to share this amazing thing that’s happening.
