Facebook repackages Events app as Facebook Local

Facebook is repackaging its standalone Events app as "Facebook Local." The update will be released today
to all Android and iOS users. Facebook Local will be powered by the social network's 70 million business pages plus reviews and friends’ checkins. Product Manager Aditya Koolwal said in a statement
