Paddles, the first cat of New Zealand, has died

The first cat of New Zealand, Paddles, died on November seventh after being hit by a car. Jacinda Arden, the Prime Minister of New Zealand brought the thumbed cat into office when she was elected. Paddles quickly became a twitter sensation and many of her followers were heartbroken upon hearing the news. Arden wrote on Instagram expressing her sadness on losing her much loved pet. She also wrote “And on behalf of Paddles, please be kind to the SPCA.
