Roy Halladay’s Wife Was ‘Very Against’ Him Flying

The baseball community was shocked and saddened when news broke of former pitcher Roy Halladay's death. The 40-year-old was killed when the small plane he was piloting crashed into the Gulf of Mexico. Halladay leaves behind a wife, Brandy, and two sons, Ryan and Brayden. A video has since surfaced of Brandy making comments back in October about how she worried over her husband's love of flying. The video by Icon aircraft was removed shortly after Halladay's death, but Us Weekly reports that Brandy "fought hard" against letting her husband fly and that she was very against it.
