''Our son lost all high frequency hearing,'' the mother later wrote online.
''It was amazing to see his reaction the first time he could hear himself talk, and laugh, not to mention the part when he said he could even hear the air.''
''He has adapted really well to his hearing aids. He is so grateful for them and they have become such a huge part of who he is.''
