Uttar Pradesh: In the municipal corporation elections of the state, this time, on sharing of tickets, BJP has expressed confidence in outsiders by giving tickets to former Union Minister Jitin Prasad's sister-in-law close to Rahul Gandhi in Shahjahanpur, UP. Although Jitin Prasad's sister-in-law's name came forward with a ticket from here, the old workers of the party got a rebellion. When Jitin Prasad's brother and sister-in-law come with the BJP, they got the tickets too.

प्रदेश के नगर निकाय चुनाव में बीजेपी ने टिकट बंटवारे पर इस बार भी बाहरी लोगों पर भरोसा जताते हुए यूपी के शाहजहांपुर में राहुल गांधी के करीबी रहे पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री जितिन प्रसाद की भाभी को टिकट देकर उन पर भरोसा जताया है। हालांकि यहां से टिकट को लेकर जब जितिन प्रसाद की भाभी का नाम आगे आया तो पार्टी के पुराने कार्यकर्ताओं में बगावत भी देखने को मिली। जब जितिन प्रसाद के भाई और भाभी ने बीजेपी का दामन थामा तो टिकट भी उन्हीं को मिल गया।
