HS2: Citizens to pay for a Green as rapid rail venture slice through it
ONE OF England's most seasoned fairways will be cut down the middle by HS2. The Citizens' Cooperation has scrutinized the choice to spend an up 'til now undisclosed entirety assembling another clubhouse, five new openings, a training range and an auto park. But Tony Rundle, administrator of the club's HS2 council, said the memorable club, outlined by commended green engineer Harry Yearling, would have needed to close in the event that they didn't clear a path for the rail line, finishing almost 130 years of playing golf tradition.
