2018 Peugeot 308 - Features interior Exterior and Drive

  • 7 лет назад
The facelifted iteration of the Peugeot 308 has surfaced, with some major powertrain upgrades and light cosmetic enhancements.\r
\r
Beginning with the latter, the lower portion of the front end now has more pronounced openings, with neatly integrated foglights and LED turn signals. At the rear theres a mildly reworked taillight cluster.\r
\r
Inside theres an updated i-Cockpit, with Mirror Screen now allowing Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus an updated TomTom traffic monitoring service for the sat-nav. Theres also Visiopark 1 with 180-degree rear-view camera.\r
\r
The most significant mechanical change is the addition of an eight-speed Aisin automatic to the 133kW/400Nm Peugeot 308 GT – quite possibly the only diesel hot hatch currently on sale here. With two extra ratios, expect average fuel consumption to dip below the 4.0L/100km mark of todays model.\r
\r
Other changes include revised versions of the three-cylinder turbo engine and a new six-speed manual transmission. New ive safety systems include ive cruise, lane departure warning and autonomous city braking.\r
\r
So far this year, the 308 has been less than stellar in Australias most popular non-SUV segment, registering 274 sales, which is less than half of its YTD performance on last year (April 2017 VFACTS). Does the prospect of 308s new features and a class-first eight-speed auto make it more appealing to you?\r
Connectivity and telematics\r
\r
From the Active level of finish upwards, the new Peugeot 308 is equipped with a latest-generation touchscreen. With capacitive sensing, the screen is highly responsive and easy to use, just like most smartphones. Perfectly positioned upon the centre air vents and turned towards the driver, the screen makes information easy to read and its options quick to select.\r
\r
Connected to TomTom® Traffic, the voice-recognition 3D navigation of the new Peugeot 308 ensures that trips are optimised depending on road traffic and that real-time information is easily received regarding the weather, service stations, and car parks. Via the TomTom® community, risk areas or temporary danger zones can be displayed as an extra-cost option.\r
\r
The new Peugeot 308 also offer the Mirror Screen feature. This replicates your smartphone screen on the vehicles touchscreen so that you can enjoy compatible apps. In our age where the smartphone has become an extension of the self, fluid digital continuity can be enjoyed via the Mirror Screen feature. In terms of safety, the telephone can be placed in the central armrest storage without the user losing use of all their favourite apps. All controls can be ivated orally by simply pressing the button at the end of the indicator control. With voice recognition via smartphone (S Voice with Android and Siri with Apple), calls can be made, text messages written, and addresses stated aloud for navigation.
