Utah nurse reaches $500,000 settlement over violent arrest

Alex Wubbels told reporters Nurse Alex Wubbels and her attorney announced they reached a $500,000 settlement after Wubbels' violent arrest at her hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Back in July, Detective Jeff Payne arrested Wubbels after she refused to draw an unconscious patient's blood. It is federal law and hospital policy to provide a warrant or obtain patient consent to draw blood.
