Messy Bun Hairstyle for Medium to Long Hair

There are different ways of doing a messy bun hairstyle. You can style from the front or do a side parting or you can also take all your hair to the back.\r

In this video Khampui is doing a diagonal parting from the front and make a side pony.\r

Stuff Required\r
\r
1. 3 in 1 Curling Tongs\r
2. Round Stuffing\r
3. Bobby Pins\r
4. Hair Spray\r
5. Hair accessory\r
\r
Steps\r
\r
1. Part your hair. In this tutorial Khampui has done a diagonal parting.\r
2. Make a pony. In this video we have made a side low pony. You can experiment with different pony styles.\r
3. Now take a small section of hair and curl it using curling tongs.\r
4 Repeat step 3 till you have completed curling all your hair.\r
5. For thin hair use of a stuffing is recommended. Stuffing will add volume to the curl. For long and thick hair stuffing is not required.\r
6. Place the stuffing right above the pony and use bobby pins to hold it firmly in place.\r
7. Now take a curl and use your fingers to straighten it a bit as shown in the video.\r
8. Divide the curl into two. The next step can be done in two different ways.\r
9a. Twist the two parts together and then loosen the twist with your fingers as shown in the video. Place it over the stuffing and secure with bobby pins.\r
9b. If you dont want to twist then just lift a curl by pinching the longest strands of hair. Now delicately slide the shorter strands towards the scalp for adding volume. See the video for a demonstration. Place it over the stuffing and secure with bobby pins.\r
10. Use a small hair accessory.\r

For thin hair use stuffing to add volume to the bun and use curling iron to add thickness to the curls.\r
For long silky hair dont forget to spray. It will help in curling.\r
