After making my version of the secret wood rings, I knew I wanted to try and scale it up!\r \r This bowl is made from splintered walnut and polyester resin. I ended up making a very large blank and turning most of it away! While Im more than pleased by the end result, I think I could have minimized the resin usage with a bit of planning.\r \r Regardless, I ended up with a cool and unique bowl! I hope you enjoy this video. I know I enjoyed making it\r \r ~~\r Resin and Timber Bowl: \r \r ~~~\r Full write up coming soon: \r \r Want To Make this Project? \r West System Epoxy: \r Clear Polyester Resin: \r Mixing Cups & Stir Sticks: \r Epoxy Resin Blue Pigment: \r Silicone Rubber Mat: \r Rubber Gloves: \r Carbide Turning 3-Piece Set: \r Bowl Gouge: \r 80 grit - 800 grit sanding discs: \r Sorby Sandmanster System: \r Mico Mesh Foam Pads: \r Micro Mesh Flat Sheets: \r PlastX polish: \r \r Please like and share! \r \r Facebook: \r Twitter: \r Pinterest: \r \r music by Jason Shaw@ audionautix.com
