However, from November 2 to November 7, light to moderate rain and thundershower activities are anticipated to continue over many parts of South Interior districts of Karnataka including Bengaluru. As per Skymet weather, the weather will continue to remain hazy and as of now no improvement in the smoggy weather conditions can be expected for at least another 3-4 days. Heavy rains lashed the city leading to several areas witnessing waterlogging and traffic snarls on October 31. The MET department said that incessant rains in Tamil Nadu will continue for the next 2-3 days with the coastal region expected to witness "heavy to very heavy" rainfall in the next 24 hours.
