Newly released dash cam footage shows the moment a Florida police officer intentionally crashed his car into his ex-wife’s home in November 2016.According to local reports, the footage shows the view from an SUV driven by Timothy Taylor, who worked for the Escambia County Sheriff’s Department and resigned in November 2016. The video shows the vehicle backing out of a driveway before accelerating into the front of a home.The woman seen standing at the front door moments before the vehicle crashed into the building was not injured, according to the report.Police said the incident was a suicide attempt by Taylor, who was under the influence of prescription drugs, local reports said.Taylor pleaded no contest to misdemeanor DUI and two counts of criminal mischief.
