Alton Towers SW8 Construction Update - 23rd October 2017

Join us as we follow the construction of the new wooden roller coaster, set to open at Alton Towers in spring 2018. Manufactured by Great Coasters International, the ride will be located on the site of the old log flume, a ride that was demolished during late 2016.
Over the past 2 weeks work has progressed massively across many aspects of the site and in this update we cover everything that's happened in detail. For the first time this season we get a closer look at the station building and maintenance area via the Katanga Canyon footpath that's now back open. We look forward to sharing this exciting build with regular updates here on Theme Park Worldwide.
