University students use 2,000 leaves to make evening dress

An amazing video of four sophomores from Hefei Normal University making an evening gown from 2000 leaves.
In the footage, captured in Hefei City in eastern China's Anhui Province on October 22, the yellow evening gown made from leaves is presented on a woman walking on the side of a lake in campus.
The prototype of the leave dress is the 'imperial robe' worn by a famous Chinese actress Fan Bingbing at Cannes Film Festival.
Four biotechnological students collected more than 6000 leaves and used around 2000 of them to make the dress in six months.
They used an alkaline solution to dry out the leaves making them easier to use int heir project.
