A 17-year-old immigrant labeled “Jane Doe” was being prevented by the federal government from aborting her pregnancy. ACLU senior staff attorney Brigitte Amiri spoke to Mic about the case. “What the Trump administration is doing is demonstrating their hostility to immigrants and their hostility to women’s reproductive health care all in one case,” Amiri said.
