Holiday Traffic From Hell: China's Worst Travel Week Of The Year

This is holiday traffic from hell.

Nearly 700 million people go on vacation during China's "Golden Week," which takes place every year in early October. It's some of the world's busiest travel weeks of the year, with an estimated 14 million people traveling daily by train, causing endless lines and massive delays.

"Golden Week" is typically a boon for the economy, as tourists spend about $90 billion during their travels. But to avoid crowds, it might be better to just Baidu and chill.
