A day before India and New Zealand clash with each other in 2nd encounter of the 3 match series , reports of pitch tampering have emerged. According to a report by a daily that did a sting operation the curator of the MCA ground in Pune aggreeed to prepare the pitch according to their demands. The report added that a clear violation of rules from ICC and the BCCI was witnessed when the curator allowed the reporters to inspect the pitch themselves. The curator claimed that the pitch for the second ODI on Wednesday is expected to witness a run-fest, with teams being able to put up 337-340 runs ‘either way’.
