Where are the chaperones?!
As Duggar fans know, the reality TV family adheres to a strict set of rules when it comes to developing romantic relationships.
While there are different sets of rules for courtships and engagements, they all streamline from the same morality rules of no kissing, no full hugs, and definitely no unchaperoned dates.
However, TLC recently released a video of then-engaged couple Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell as they enjoyed a solo picnic discussing their impending nuptials. #RuleBreakers
While it may seem pretty normal for any other engaged couple, it was the fact that the two were not accompanied by any family members (at least not on camera), which is a major “no-no” for the Duggar family, that left some surprised.

Joe and Kendra’s solo date wouldn’t be the first time a Duggar has broken “dating” rules.
Joe’s sister’s Joy-Anna and her husband Austin Forsyth admitted to breaking both engagement and courtship rules before they were married.
