Children are spending a lot of time in front of screens

It seems more and more parents
are buying tablets for their children, according to data from Common Sense Media. Kids younger than eight are reportedly spending an average of two hours and 19 minutes per day glued to screens. A third of that time is spent on smartphones or tablets,
which 42 percent of youngsters have and that number continues to grow. The amount of children watching TV daily has decreased by 11 minutes since 2011, while mobile device use has exploded from five minutes per day to its current 48 minutes. Times are certainly changing.
