Nissan is suspending all vehicles in Japan for two weeks amid a faulty vehicle-quality inspection scandal. The temporary suspension is only in the local market. Assembly lines throughout Japan will stop all operations as the company investigates the crisis. “The existing management’s responsibility now is to prevent recurrence and to normalize operation, and put the company back on growth track,” Chief Executive Officer Hiroto Saikawa told Bloomberg.
