Chinese Billionaire Jack Ma Performs For His Employees In Wild Fashion
  • 7 years ago
Meet China's dancing billionaire.

Jack Ma, who's worth an estimated $39 billion, is China's second richest man. He's a former English teacher who made $12 a month before he founded the e-commerce giant Alibaba in 1999. Now, it's the world's largest retailer — even bigger than Walmart.

But Ma's extravagant performances put him in a category of his own. He dressed as Michael Jackson at his company's anniversary party, dancing to "Billie Jean" and Beyoncé's "Formation" in front of 40,000 of his employees. He sings, too, making a surprise appearance at a Chinese music festival, singing a duet with Chinese artist Li Jian. He's even donned a wig and sung tunes from "The Lion King."

While the rags to riches entrepreneur can be measured in money, it's his showmanship that makes Ma invaluable.
