Diwali पे Delhi की pollution से होंगी धडकने बंद, कैसे बचायेगे आप अपनी दिल्ली ?

Supreme Court has banned sale of firecrackers in Delhi-National Capital Region (NCR) particulate matter pollution is set to spike on Diwali, October 19 and on October 20, as weather conditions are expected to slow down surface winds. This would also slow down the dispersal of pollutants.,,The India Meteorological Department's (IMD) forecast showed that a low-pressure over the Bay of Bengal is set to intensify into a depression over the next two days. It is expected to move towards north Andhra Pradesh coast by October 19.,,"This system is expected to bring in warm and humid Easterly winds in Uttar Pradesh and it will restrain the prevailing North-Westerly winds and slow down the surface winds in Delhi-NCR, thereby affecting dispersion of pollutants,"said M.Mohapatra, Director-General, National Weather Forecasting Centre, IMD Delhi.

दिल्ली ने वायु प्रदुषण से निपटने के लिए प्लान तैयार कर लिया है. इसके लिए मंगलवार को 'सीवियर' नाम की नई केटेगरी को एयर क्वॉलिटी इंडेक्स में शामिल किया गया है. ये केटेगरी ग्रेडेड रेस्पॉन्स एक्शन प्लान (GRAP) का हिस्सा है, जिसका गठन 17 जनवरी, 2017 को केंद्रीय पर्यावरण मंत्रालय द्वारा एनवायरनमेंट पॉल्युशन कंट्रोल अथॅारिटी के साथ मिलकर किया गया था.बदरपुर थर्मल पावर प्लांट बंद होने के साथ पिछले महीने दिल्ली में वायु प्रदुषण का स्तर 'खराब' और 'सबसे खराब' वाली केटेगरी से नई श्रेणी में स्थानांतरित हो गया, जिसे 'हाफ इमरजेंसी' नाम दिया गया. यह 15 मार्च, 2018 तक वायु प्रदुषण की श्रेणी के बदलने तक जारी रहेगा.
