Underwater Timelapse Shows Aquatic Life Near Wellington
  • 7 years ago
A photographer spent months capturing a mesmerising timelapse of aquatic life in the shallow waters of the south Wellington coast in New Zealand.Between March and August, Mark Gee used an underwater motion control device and a GoPro action camera to film the magic of the smaller and unassuming coastal rock pools.“I started with a locked off shot with no motion control which was quite successful, but the cool thing I noticed from that timelapse, was how much the sea snails on the rocks moved around over time. I took this idea and expanded on it to use motion control and do a over to underwater transition,” Gee told Storyful. Credit: Mark Gee via Storyful
