Fareed Zakaria: Jeb Bush’s Prediction Of Trump As A ‘Chaos President’ Was Correct

Fareed Zakaria has credited Jeb Bush for correctly predicting that Donald Trump would be a “chaos president.”
“When running against Donald Trump, Jeb Bush made a prediction about his highly unusual Republican rival," Zakaria noted during the commentary part of his CNN show Sunday. "He said Trump was a ‘chaos candidate’ and that he would become a ‘chaos president.’ Bush failed badly in the primaries. But that prediction is proving remarkably accurate.”
Bush, had, in fact, made the declaration in late 2015 during a Republican debate when he said, “Donald, you know, is great at the one-liners. But he's a chaos candidate. And he'd be a chaos president.”
And the former Florida governor has continued to stand by the comment, telling attendees of a hedge fund conference in May this year, “When I ran for office, I said he is a chaos candidate and would be a chaos president….Unfortunately, so far chaos organizes the presidency right now.”
Zakaria explained why he thought Bush was correct in his assessment, referring to Trump’s recent statements announcing big changes to the existing health care law and the Iran nuclear agreement without any apparent long-term strategy to address the consequences of those decisions.
He then criticized Trump’s term thus far for its “lack of any actual accomplishments.”
