Deal Ordeal: NATO worries over Turkish purchase of Russian S-400 defense systems
  • 7 years ago
President Erdogan of Turkey has slammed NATO's concerns over the purchase of a Russian S-400 Defense System. He said that, from now on, Turkey would take control of its own security.
According to the manufacturers, the S-400 system can shoot down up to 80 targets at a time with a range of about 400km.
The deal is proving to be a worry for NATO allies - who say it's incompatible with the alliance systems already in Turkey.
