It is almost certain that the Narendra Modi will go ahead with the pay hike beyond the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission. The pay hike for the 50 lakh government employees will come in January. There was an NAC meeting that was scheduled to be held on October 7. However the same was postponed as the committee is examining some details. The NAC or National Anomaly Committee meeting was scheduled to be held on October 7.
