Godhra train case : Gujarat HC turn death sentence to life for 11 convicts | Oneindia News

The Gujarat High Court has commuted the death sentence awarded 11 persons to life in the Godhra train burning case of 2002. The court also confirmed the life sentences awarded to 20 persons in this case. The court also directed the state government to pay Rs 10 lakh as compensation to the family of the deceased stating that the state failed to maintain law and order.
