A lone man took the initiative and tried to place stones as makeshift wheel stoppers when a train started rolling by itself in Ankleshwar, India.

He was soon joined by a few others, who also found stones of the right size, to bring the train to a halt.

Two Coaches of Ankleshwar-Rajpipla passenger train reportedly took off on their own due to a human error in ‘loose shunting’ – a technique used by rail companies to move coaches to workshops.

The filmer can be heard in the footage joking that India was trying to run a bullet train despite a poor safety record.

Ankleshwar is in Gujarat, the home state of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has made it a priority to give the country its first bullet train with a soft loan from Japan.
