Incredible footage of a high-speed police motorbike chase in which the suspect makes daring escape - through a field of corn.

Police lieutenant Mark Theerapat spotted the wanted man on a country road in Pathum Thani, Thailand, on September 30.

Colleague Teeradon Saard gave chase with Mark riding pillion - but the alleged thief refused to stop.

Mark's helmet camera captured the dramatic chase as they weaved through oncoming traffic at speeds of up to 90mph - frantically waving at cars to clear the road.

But the suspect's motorbike was too fast for the police's 125cc bike carrying two people and he stayed well ahead.

Five passing army trucks even joined in the chase but the alleged crook made a getaway - dumping his bike and diving through a farmer's field of 8ft high corn.

Mark said officers secured the area but they were still unable to catch the man.

He said: ''Today was his day, next time it will be ours. We did our best to catch him but it was just unlucky.

''We seized the motorbike and examining that to use as evidence in the investigation.''
