Dog howls 'to comfort crying girl'

Video from China of an Alaskan Malamute howling to apparently comfort a crying girl who is being scolded by her mother.
In the video, filmed in Jinan city in eastern Shandong Province on September 13, the dog - whose name translates as Meatball - howls when the toddler cries as her mother tells her off.
"Meatball is trying to comfort you," she says to her daughter. "Don't you know? (The dog) is more sensible than you. Meatball, come here! Leave her alone."
