Thousands of Afghan refugees stranded in Greece after Macedonia border closure

The bottleneck at the Macedonian border began when Skopje started only allowing refugees from Iraq and Syria through, leaving thousands of others stranded in Greece. Those migrants transported back to Athens will be housed in refugee centers. However the country's whole reception system could be overwhelmed in just eight days, according to aid group Doctors without Borders.
