A UFO is an unidentified flying object, which is what is used to describe alien sightings, normally. It is the unusual behavior of things we dont know or cant explain that spurs so many UFO sightings every year. It is now common knowledge that we are in a universe that is mathematically impossible to not harbor intelligent life. We have yet to prove any life exists at all, but that is due to our limited sight and knowledge as humans.\r
It is this ignorance of the unknown parts of the universe that gives many of our common man a real belief that aliens have visited our planet before. It is said that 95% of all UFOs are proven to be simple weather balloons, military-related aircraft or tests, flares, and drones, especially. What about that remaining 5%? They get filed into the unsolved mysteries folder, which is now considerably larger than it used to be, thanks to YouTube and various UFO community portals online.\r

The very first UFO sighting that was documented in the United States was during 1639. This sighting was not all that different than most stores: a shiny object flying in the sky, bobbing slightly in the same location for an extended period of time. These early sightings certainly debunk many popular explanations of military craft that exist today.\r
Recent UFO sightings are often corroborated by many different people in different locations on the ground, thanks to ease of access to camera phones and the internet. This eliminates any inconsistencies from written reports. UFOs still tend to follow predictable patterns and descriptions, however, with witnesses: oblong saucers, perfect spheres, and some amorphic balls that radiate light in an oscillating fashion. \r
The flying patterns of UFOs are the biggest link to the countless reported sightings around the globe. An alien observer defies our standard flight technology, obviously, therefor all UFO behaviors exhibit odd or advanced patterns. Flying stationary at high altitudes isnt normal, even with a slight bob. Flying in fast, erratic, and/or highly coordinated routes is not normal. One unsettling thing that is often tied to UFO sightings is that they are often accompanied with no audio disturbance from nearby captures.\r
Last, but not least is the category of alien abductions along with UFO sightings. It is difficult to find comprehensive studies on this topic because it is so taboo to the public. Those who claim they have experience either an abduction or visitation by aliens are immediately deemed crazy or that it was a dream/hallucination. \r
These close encounters are also fairly consistent in reports, but they are often hard to recall by witnesses. This could be explained by the emotional trauma of such an event; some would say their memories could be effected by the ual extraterrestrials own experiments. Scientists think that most accounts of alien abductions are really just experiences with sleep disorders and feelings of sleep paralysis creating a strong paranoia that it is being induced by some outside force.\r
