Rift between Catalonia and rest of Spain widens after vote | DW English

The regional government in the Catalonia region is meeting to discuss taking steps towards independence. That's after 90 per cent of voters backed breaking away from Spain in a referendum. But the vote was disrupted by police and dismissed by Madrid.
