Juli Hirata is on the 18,000-mile trip of a lifetime.

In solo cycling from Alaska to Argentina, Hirata, who started riding following a 2015 divorce, will be the first Latin-American woman to cross the Americas end-to-end on a bike.

Hirata has been cycling for more than 500 days, and still has at least eight months left to go. While she bikes, she's been posting videos of her journey, hoping to inspire others to go on an adventure.
