The Easter Story for Kids\r

While Jesus was praying in the garden some soldiers came and took him away. \r
They didnt like him teaching about God and they wanted to kill him.\r
They put him on a cross and he died.\r
His friends cried as they loved Jesus. \r
The sky turned black in sadness. \r
His friends took his body and laid it in a tomb.\r
They placed a HUGE stone in front of the tomb.\r
Three days later, some women went to the tomb to put spices on Jesus body. \r
But the giant stone had been moved!\r
An angel told them that Jesus had risen. \r
It is true! The tomb is empty and Jesus is now LIVING with God in Heaven. \r
\r
Jesus died on the cross for our sins. \r
He is risen and our sins are forgiven.\r
And still today, the Easter egg remind us of the new life we have in Jesus. \r
