Is Peyton Manning eyeing a Senate run?

After Tennessee Rep. Sen. Bob Corker announced his intentions to retire in 2018, rumors on who would take his seat on the Senate quickly started to spread. Corker said that it's "possible" that former Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning will replace him. Manning contributed to Corker’s 2006 and 2012 campaigns, and they remained close since then. Payton retired from the NFL in 2016 after winning the Super Bowl 50 with the Denver Broncos.
