Ingredients:-
1 kg. Chicken
1 tsp. Ginger and garlic paste each
2 tsp. White pepper powder
1 cup Cream
5 green chillies, finely chopped
1 large onion, finely chopped
2½ cups of milk
1 tsp. Green cardamom powder
1 tbsp. Ginger, finely chopped
¼ cup Coriander, finely chopped
½ tsp. Dry ginger powder
1 tsp. Kasuri methi
2 tsp. Garam masala powder
A pinch of saffron
2 tbsp. Almonds, soaked, peeled and sliced
Salt to taste

For the garam masala, roast and grind:-
1 black cardamom
6 green cardamom
1 mace
2 tsp cumin seeds
5 cloves
1” cinnamon
5 peppercorns
6-7 dried rose petals


Method:-
1. Marinate the chicken with the ginger, garlic paste and white pepper powder for 1 hour.
2. Heat a pan and add the cream, onions, green chillies and cook until the onions are soft.
3. Add the milk and the marinated chicken and mix well.
4. Add green cardamom powder, chopped ginger, dry ginger powder, coriander leaves, kasuri methi, garam masala and a pinch of saffron and let it simmer.
5. Add salt and let it cook for 10 minutes.
6. Garnish with the almond and saffron and serve.

Malaiwala Murg is ready to eat!
