Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, who has been sentenced to 20 years in jail by a CBI court in twin rape cases, on Monday appealed against the verdict in Punjab and Haryana High Court. Gurmeet Ram Rahim has moved the Punjab and Haryana High Court challenging his conviction in two rape cases. The petition was filed in the High Court and the matter is yet to be listed for hearing. The matter is expected to come up for the hearing next week.
