Kenneka Jenkins Update: He saw her die?
Breaking News has slowed down some for the Kenneka Jenkins case. In the past week police have interviewed over 26 people who were at the hotel party or had a connection with the party. All but two of those individuals were released. The two who were arrested were the two whos name the hotel room was under. They were arrested for credit card fraud. The hotel room at the crowne plaza Rosemont was booked using stolen credit card information.
The family of Kenneka Jenkins and their attorneys have asked for the assistance of the FBI in seeking information. They have stated that they feel the Rosemont PD is not doing a well enough job and they feel the lack of communication towards them is because they are hiding something. Rosemont PD turned down the familys request for FBI assistance, stating they feel the investigation is going smoothly and it will take time.
The most important piece of news came Wednesday. The Crowne Plaza went officially on the record as stating there is NO FOOTAGE OF KENNEKA WALKING INTO THE FREEZER ON HER OWN. They went even further stating that there is no surveillance cameras even near the freezer! This statement goes against what both Tereasa Martin and Andrew Holmes have said. Tereasa Martin, Kenneka's mother, has said there were cameras directly pointing at the freezer! Andrew Holmes is seen on tape saying he saw, with his own eyes, video footage of Kenneka entering the freezer!
