A drone operator inadvertently captured a woman’s dramatic fall from a cliff edge in San Jose, California, on September 4, from which she remarkably emerged without serious injuries.Ruri Kobayakawa said she was climbing a rock face when, “the rock my hand held onto broke off, leading to me falling down violently.”A drone operator recording at the location at the time happened to capture her fall.According to a local ABC report, the drone operator contacted San Jose Sheriff’s Office to see if the woman was okay after the fall. The sheriff’s office said in a post that it was sharing the video, “not to sensationalize what happened to her, but as a reminder to our kids and anyone who want to enjoy the beauty of our area” that, “regardless how careful you think you are being, you just cannot control the stability of the crumbling cliff side.” Credit: Jonathan Chie via Storyful
