An amusing video has emerged from China of a golden retriever refusing to bow his head to pray before eating.

The footage, shot in Rizhao, Shandong Province last year, shows one golden retriever, on the right, bowing as its owner requests while the other keeps his head high.

The dog owner has to threaten the dog by saying he won't have dumplings to eat for him to obey the order.
