1/2 lb taro root\r
1-1.8 oz pkg bean thread noodle\r
2 tsp salt\r
2 tsp sugar\r
1/2 tsp black pepper\r
2 tsp cornstarch (optional)\r
1 pkg egg roll wrappers (25 pieces)\r
1 Tbsp cornstarch + 1 Tbsp water\r
vegetable oil for deep frying\r
