Actress Rebel Wilson was awarded Australia’s highest ever defamation payout, more than $4.5 million Australian dollars ($3.66 million), after successfully suing the publisher of Woman's Day over a series of defamatory articles. Wilson pledged to donate every cent to charity and the Aussie film industry after her trial.
