Man Utd welcomed a team of Barcelona legends to Old Trafford for this one-off charity game.
Both teams wore black armbands to commemorate the recent terror attacks in both cities, while a minute’s silence will also be held before Saturday’s game, with a message of support being displayed on the digital boards surrounding the pitch.
When the action got underway, Ruud van Nistelrooy fired home from the penalty spot after Karel Poborsky.
And Danny Webber doubled the home side's advantage before the break.
