** The reason I did not use heat is that heat and melting product can change the consistency and structure of the product. I want them to perform the same de-potted which is why I am not applying heat to them. This method is nothing new or my own, I took tips & tricks from many other videos to figure out the quickest and easiest no-heat way to transfer lipsticks from tube to palette! \r

At the time I made this I was building a kit and based this method on other videos I watched about lipstick depotting. You can definitely put the tubes directly into the palette and mash there, the only reason I didnt is that I thought by trying to mash in such a tiny amount of space, that the product would spill over and create even more mess. This palette is very small (fits in my hand) so each pan is quite small. Most were quite full and couldnt fit any more lipstick, so a little bit of waste was OK by me as trying to squeeze the pans too full would have been even more mess. If you dont like this method - thats ok! It doesnt bother me at all, there are tons of videos that do use heat so definitely if you need a really perfect-looking palette I would seek those out for a method using heat. My thought was that once I have to use a lip brush to work with the lipsticks theyd be messy anyway, and would never stay perfectly flat so it didnt matter too much. Plus, the imperfect look doesnt bother me at all, but if it does bother you I would definitely try heat (I was afraid it would alter the formula of some of these lipsticks). \r

The reason I sanitize between EVERY lipstick is that this is designed to be used on clients, and to avoid the spread of any possible beria I had to be very careful to keep everything fully clean and sanitized, which is also why I didnt use my hands to touch any product directly, rather I used a clean kleenex to pull out the tube, and the spatula to mash/move the product.\r
